Blackmagic Design ATEM Camera Converter

ATEM Camera Converter from Blackmagic Design gives you the extension of the SDI (serial digital interface)/HDMI cameras to the distance, up to 28 miles (45km) via the optical fiber link. By using this unit, you can connect the camera to the SDI/HDMI input for converting SDI video signals to Optical signals. For the purpose of the monitoring function, you can use the optical fiber input and connect it to the switcher program feed for converting SDI/HDMI output. Additionally, the available SDI/HDMI outputs can be switched between return program and camera input for the same function.

Not just for video, this ATEM Camera Converter also has the connection for Audio that is Analog-based of 2 x balanced 1/4" TRS connectors (stereo), line or microphone level in. Moreover, this unit has the Talkback function to switch operator, to coordinate with camera operator through the PC headsets or iPhone headphones. This camera has the integrated clip which gives you easiness to attach it to the belt for portability.

For power requirement, this ATEM Camera Converter can be connected to any power source or a car battery. In the package, you can also have the 12V power supply with the international socket adapters for all countries. From the construction side, this product is made from aircraft-grade aluminum, as such, it can endure shocks and bumps without any damage. As for controlling, you can use the built-in button that allows you to control power, microphone level, talkback and video, and battery indicators. The USB port connection provides you connection for updating the firmware.
