For those who require faster data transfer speeds, the d2's aluminum unibody enclosure supports a separately sold 128GB SSD, boosting speeds up to 1150 MB/s. The d2 is equipped with dual 20 Gb/s Thunderbolt 2 ports, each of which supports bi-directional data transfers, as well as one 5 Gb/s USB 3.0 port, which also supports USB 2.0 at speeds up to 480 Mb/s.
