The Livestream Broadcaster Mini allows you to stream live from the field with nearly any HDMI camera. It takes your camera's HDMI output, encodes it as H.264 video, and streams up to 1080p over 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi to the Livestream cloud service platform for viewing on mobile devices, any web browser, or a Roku-connected TV. Additionally, you can use one or more Broadcaster minis as a camera input when used with the optional the Livestream Studio software for multi-camera broadcasts and easy streaming to YouTube, Ustream, Wowza Streaming Servers, Zixi, Akamai, and Adobe Media Server. The Broadcaster mini is setup and fully controlled using the free Livestream app for iOS and Android devices. The app also allows your phone to function as a video monitor, letting you preview exactly what you're streaming.

The Broadcaster mini removes the Ethernet port and built-in display of its predecessor--the original Livestream Broadcaster--to produce a more compact device for improved mobility in the field. It features a built-in lithium-ion battery that provides up to two hours of live streaming on a single charge. A micro-USB port is provided for charging the battery, or to serve as a power input when longer shoot times are required. Status LEDs on the unit itself let you know the battery life and the status of the HDMI connection, Wi-Fi, live stream. Included with the Broadcaster mini is a combined camera shoe, tripod, and strap mount, 36" micro-USB to USB cable, and an 18" micro-HDMI to HDMI cable.
